So What’s This Anime Even About?
It’s about this dude called Lü Shaoqing who somehow gets his hands on a super rare artifact called the Spring and Autumn Ring. But instead of becoming a hero, the big cultivator alliance thinks he’s the bad guy and starts hunting him down.
Just when things go south, he gets thrown back in time — like, a thousand years back — and ends up sharing a body with his own killer (yeah, seriously).
Now he’s stuck in enemy territory, pretending to play along, but secretly outsmarting everyone while collecting powerful stuff and messing with fate.
And as time goes on, he realizes the whole history of the cultivation world? It’s not what it used to be. Dude literally changes the future without meaning to. Wild.

Animation, Studio & Vibe Check
This donghua is based on a web novel by Ke Ning, and Bilibili teamed up with Soy Culture to bring it to life. The animation? Pretty slick. The tone? A mix of serious, funny, and chaotic.
If you’re into shows like Scumbag System or Spare Me, Great Lord!, this one kinda hits the same notes — smart MC, weird situations, cool powers.

Voice Cast — Who’s Talking?
Lü Shaoqing is voiced by Yang Jinhan, and there’s a bunch of other characters (and drama) in the mix. The cast is solid, and even though some names might not be super famous outside China, the performances are 🔥.

Worth Watching? Honestly, Yeah.
If you’re into cultivation stories with twists, weird body-sharing plots, and an MC who’s basically too smart for everyone else — My Senior Brother is Too Strong is worth checking out.
It’s funny, a bit chaotic, and already feels like it’s gonna blow up in the donghua scene. Keep an eye on it.
