The Chinese animation Wei Jiang, OR 維將, jointly produced by “KAYOU,” “Elite Animation,” and “Jinka,” and created by “Elite Animation,” is set to premiere its second season starting October 18. It will air every Friday at 16:00 across multiple platforms, including Tencent Video, Youku, iQIYI, and Mango TV, with a total of 52 episodes planned.
Wei Jiang revolves around exploring the mysteries of the universe, blending themes of inspiration and adventure. The story follows Gu Yu, a young boy whose parents were both scientists. He lost his mother in childhood, and his father disappeared when he was just eight. Raised by his grandmother, Gu Yu is determined to follow in his parents’ footsteps, continuing his mother’s research to uncover the truths of the world, solve unsolved mysteries, and ultimately find his missing father.
